Despite his best efforts, Emmett can't quite seem to escape from the paperwork he's been putting off. How does one begin to choke down the details of how a rookie lost their equipment to Teddiursas in the woods? Or deal with the sudden appearance of crystals chock full of tera crystals? It's not like they can simply guard every entrance to keep those nosy civilians out. But what should they do when said civilians get injured because they can't stop them from going in?[break][break]

Being captain has never seemed that appealing, and the more he gives thoughts to these problems, the more he finds himself balking away from what Raziel Beckett has told him. No amount of training from Alola could ever prepare him to step up and deal with things head on.

An order they didn't mind from their superiors. One that dispatches them to Fallarbor Town to provide a little assistance to that branch for a few days. Fortunately, the journey wouldn't have taken them quite so long given the distance between their headquarters and such a town. A journey that felt virtually immediate and enjoyable as their young Ralt diverted them with her playful personality after every ten steps they took.

If they had looked at their watches, they would have learned the journey actually nearly took them the entire day.

Even then, they intended to enjoy their trip; nothing less than a father-and-daughter experience.

Arriving in town addresses one problem, but determining where the captain went is another. By asking around instead of wasting their time investigating a place they were unfamiliar with, it appears Lady Fortune has blessed them with information. Something they could use to locate them. To make sure they didn't wander off to god knows where, they asked for directions, the rest they could figure out on their own.

They reported in just before departing and then continued on their way to the route. Their supposition was straightforward: "Probably out for a walk.". Yet that wouldn't make them any less of a cheeky bother when they do find them.

With their off duty nature aside, quietly, they haste their way in hopes they'll find them, or more perhaps, in hopes they didn't miss each other on the way.

The park is unusually empty for a weekend. Then again, there is a fair travelling around the region. He wouldn't be that surprised if most of the townsfolk have gone off for a short trip. What surprises him even more is the figure approaching in the distance, and Na'au's murmuring suggests that he might just be looking for something.[break][break]

"Hey!" Waving at them, he begins to veer his steps towards the stranger. "Need help or something?"

Upon arriving, they returned the motion. With a wave on approach, they paused for a moment to gather their breath. They offer them a modest smile whilst uniformed. They retained their posture merely to return their gaze--No, their attention onto the fellow. When at last they spoke, they waved two fingers.

"Reporting in.~ Nuj'Well at your service.". Even though they were essentially jesting about it, they have not yet replied to the inquiry. They let go of that gesture and become more carefree.

"I'll be in your case for a few weeks if that's okay. HQ station me here to assist. Don't mind my tomfoolery, I'm just taking it easy while I can.~ Good for the mental.".
